Emily-Rose is an emerging artist and arts administrator based in New Norfolk, lutruwita (Tasmania). She completed her Bachelor of Contemporary Arts (UTAS) in Launceston in 2015 and relocated to Hobart shortly afterwards. Responding to place and identity, her interdisciplinary arts practice explores the relationship between the individual and geographic location.

She has dedicated her career to the Tasmanian arts and events industry. Her current position is with Mona Museum and Mona Foma as their Program Administrator. She also currently sits on the board of Music Tasmania.

Her previous roles include Functions Sales and Administrator at Mona, Marketing and Programming Coordinator at Junction Arts Festival, Assistant Director at Party in the Paddock, varied roles with Sawtooth ARI and Falls Festival and member of Board of Directors with Stompin Dance and Constance ARI.

Emily-Rose grew up in Tam O’Shanter Bay, on Tasmania’s Bass Strait; a place that is instilled in her practice and work.
