The Denial of Domestic Space
(as Home)
2015

Tam O'Shanter Bay, Tasmania
Ink and Dye (non-toxic), disused curtain, sea water

This body of work was created upon the realisation that personal attachment to place is to the greater environment and geographical location rather than a domestic space or property; the beach and coast embodied my understanding of home.  Surrendering the domestic object to the ocean was symbolic of the nature of my relationship to site.
